I grew up on a farm in Colorado. I was a 4-H kid and a bull rider (sounds cool, but I fell off most the time). I went to Japan as a Rotary exchange student in high school and became very interested in Japan and East Asia. I attended USC in Los Angeles and went back to Japan to Waseda university.
My first job out of college was at a meat plant. I’ve been in the business ever since.
